BENAROYA HALL WELCOMES THREE STAND-UP COMEDIANS TO PERFORM IN SEATTLE THIS SPRING

Seattle, WA – This spring, Benaroya Hall Presents welcomes comedians Kristin Key, Will King and Isabel Hagen for three evenings of musically inclined stand-up. All of the performances will take place in the Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall.

Known for her iconic viral videos, including the “Lesbian National Anthem,” which garnered over 25 million views online, queer musical comedian Kristin Key kicks off this series of stand-up shows with a rare opportunity to witness her in live, comedic action on March 8 at 8pm. This engagement follows a slew of national headlines and sold-out performances nationwide.

On April 26 at 8pm, viral comedian and parody singer Will King, best known for “Something’s Wrong with Stacy’s Mom” — which amassed 55 million views in seven days — takes the Recital Hall stage. King’s stop follows sold-out comedy shows with Dusty Slay, Brad Upton, Kevin Farley, Tammy Pescatelli, Trae Crowder and Chris Franjola, and an appearance on Kenan Thompson's Ultimate Comedy Showcase.

Concluding Benaroya Hall Presents' comedic spring lineup is stand-up comedian and classically trained violist Isabel Hagen, who appears on May 31 at 8pm. As a violist, Hagen​​ has worked with Björk, Max Richter, Steve Reich and more. As a comedian, she has been featured on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and in 2019, was a New Face of Comedy at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal.

Kristin Key is a nationally headlining, queer musical comedian with sold out shows at clubs and theaters nationwide. Her hilarious viral videos — including the iconic “Lesbian National Anthem” — have garnered over 25 million views online. WILL KING

Will King is a viral comedy and parody singer who currently has over 175 million views and 440k followers across social media. He's recently performed in sold-out comedy shows with Dusty Slay, Brad Upton, Kevin Farley, Tammy Pescatelli, Trae Crowder and Chris Franjola. King was also selected to participate in Kenan Thompson's Ultimate Comedy Showcase. You may have heard King's parody, “Something's Wrong with Stacy’s Mom,” which amassed 55 million views in only seven days, or his Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce-inspired song, “Flag on the Play” (with 40 million views to date).

ISABEL HAGEN

Isabel Hagen is a stand-up comedian and classically trained violist. Every little girl’s dream. As a comic, she has been featured twice on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and was a New Face of Comedy at the Just for Laughs festival in Montréal. Hagen started stand-up right after earning her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Viola Performance from The Juilliard School.

As a violist, Hagen has played in the orchestra for several productions on Broadway, including Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, The Lion King and Rocktopia. She has performed and worked with numerous artists such as Björk, Ed Sheeran, Max Richter, The National and Steve Reich. You might be wondering if Isabel ever combines viola and comedy. The answer: sometimes!
